About the Speaker Joan has held management and executive positions in sales, marketing, engineering management, global supplier contracts and corporate strategy at a Fortune 200 company before forming her own organization, CorePurpose, Inc. She is a member of the National Speakers Association and lectures at universities and in the professional community. Joan is vice chairman of the Dean’s Board of Excellence at ASU, and is a member of the ASU Executive MBA Advisory Board, Beta Gamma Sigma, Business Honors Society, the Board of Advisors to the Thomas and Joan Read Center at Texas A&M University, and the Board of Directors of Parents Anonymous® of Arizona. She is a published author of texts and an allegory, and holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Delaware.
